Colorado has 2 cities in nation’s top 5 for real estate agents
Two metro cities are among the dream-spots in the nation for real estate agents: Denver and Aurora, according to WalletHub. The report analyzed the nation’s 150 largest U.S. cities based on 14 metrics across two main categories:
1) Job opportunity & competition
2) Real estate market health
Denver came in at #3 overall, while Aurora came in #5.
Mortgage Rates Are Holding Mostly Steady
Rates have mostly stayed flat the past three weeks, offering buyers a pause to what had been steadily rising rates. Freddie Mac reported the following national averages for the week ending Feb. 9:
* 30-year fixed-rate mortgages averaged 4.17%, with an average 0.4 point. Last year at this time, 30-year rates averaged 3.65%.
* 15-year fixed-rate mortgages averaged 3.39%, with an average 0.4 point. A year ago, 15-year rates averaged 2.95%.
